Chive, Fine Leaf

This fine leafed chive is a great option for mincing. It grows wonderfully in pots and thrives in a bright kitchen window! Its got a bright, traditional chive flavor to it, and the small diameter of the leaves help it make a very fine minced herb.

Chive: A relative of onions, leeks and garlic, Chives bring a ton of flavor to the table. They do really well in pots and can last for years and year - sometimes growing to large, dense bundles if the conditions are right.

Growing Tips: Chives can handle some part shade but will grow back faster after harvest if given more sun. Plant them about 4 inches apart to have them grow together into a continuous mound. Chives are a perennial so will live for many years if not pulled out at the end of the growing season.
