Parsley, Double Curled

Double Curled features tightly-curled leaves that stands out as a garnish, cooked into soups or strait from the plant. It makes a great potted plant as well as a beautiful addition to the herb garden. It tends to grow a little lower and wider than the Italian Flat leafed varieties.

Parsley: Parsley is a classic herb that has been cultivated and treasured for thousands of years. It’s native to the central and eastern Mediterranean. It’s as slow growing biannual, yet we usually harvest and use it in its first year of life when it make a rosette of leaves. Generally divided into flat leafed and curled varieties it absolutely deserves a space in the garden or even a container.

Growing Tips: Give plants a good 8 to 12 inches of space and as much sunlight as possible in order to encourage them to develop into large rosettes. They love moist, fertile soils, so don’t be shy about adding a bit of compost on their roots in mid summer.
