Cosmos, Sensation Mix
A fantastic color mix of Cosmos. They are vigorous, plentiful and worthy of a bouquet all on their own. You can let them stand in the garden, but I would encourage you to cut them low on the plant and bring them into the house as the pruning will encourage more and more blooms all summer long.
Cosmos: Cosmos make an amazing addition to the flower picking garden! They are tall, robust and and keep coming back month after month as you harvest them. They are originally from the North and Central American Westcoast but have been naturalized across the country and are and easy to grow meadow flower.
Growing Tips: Transplant cosmos about 12 inches apart as the plant will soon grow 3 to 4 feet tall. Because of their height I often recommend planting them in the center of the garden beds where you will still see their flowers but it will hide their sometimes knobby knees.
