Why Plant Early?
Spring is the secret season for serious gardeners. These varieties:
- Love the cold - Actually prefer March/April temperatures over summer heat
- Grow fast - Arugula ready in 3 weeks, lettuce in 4-5 weeks, beets by June
- Taste better - Cool weather makes greens sweeter and less bitter
- Extend your harvest - Fresh food from April through June, before your summer garden even starts
This bundle takes advantage of our spring here - cool nights, moderate days, and plenty of moisture. These are the plants that thrive when summer crops would struggle.
All plants are NOFA-NY certified organic transplants, grown right here in at Lyndhurst in Tarrytown and cold-hardened for immediate planting.
Perfect for: Gardeners who want to maximize their growing season, spring salad lovers, and anyone tired of waiting until June for a fresh garden harvest!
