Albion and Seascape combines two of the best flavors for a long and delicious harvest all summer long. Our Albion and Seascape strawberries are a true classic and fan favorite. The Albion strawberries, also known as ‘day-neutral’ strawberries, produce tons of berries in June and another flush later in September. Their big conical shape and sweet taste make for a classic fresh addition to your snacks. On the other hand, the Seascape strawberries have been loved for over 30 years for their large firm flavorful berries that do especially well in the summers and fall. They are often voted best flavor and are perfect for chocolate covered strawberries. Don't miss out on this fantastic variety that is sure to please any strawberry lover.
Strawberry: These low-growing perennial strawberry plants (Fragaria × ananassa) deliver intensely sweet, aromatic berries with a flavor vastly superior to what we find in the grocery store. Everbearing varieties fruit in spring and fall. And as an added bonus plants spread via runners to form dense patches.
• Growing Tips: Transplant in early spring or fall, spacing 12-18 inches apart; plants produce for 3-5 years.
• Sun Requirements: Full sun (6-8 hours minimum).
• Preferred Soil: Rich, well-drained, slightly acidic soil (pH 5.5-6.5) high in organic matter; consistent moisture is important.
• Harvest Details: Pick berries when fully red and smell great!
